Over the years, the blog gained a loyal following, and in 2015, Hana decided to turn her passion into a full-fledged travel agency, Sakura Journeys. Founder & CEO
Hana is the heart and soul of Sakura Journeys. With her deep knowledge of Japan and her passion for travel, she leads the team in creating unforgettable experiences for our clients. Hana enjoys exploring hidden gems throughout Japan and sharing her discoveries with others. Prior to founding Sakura Journeys, Hana worked as a translator and cultural consultant for international businesses in Tokyo. She holds a degree in Japanese Studies from Waseda University.
Kenji Sato
Lead Travel Planner
Kenji is our expert in all things Japan travel. With years of experience in the tourism industry, he has an extensive network of contacts and a wealth of knowledge about the best destinations, activities, and accommodations. Kenji is dedicated to crafting personalized itineraries that exceed our clients' expectations. In his free time, Kenji enjoys hiking in the Japanese Alps and visiting local onsen (hot springs). He previously worked as a tour guide for a major travel company in Kyoto.
Akari Yamamoto
Customer Service Manager
Akari is our friendly and helpful customer service manager. She is dedicated to providing our clients with the best possible support throughout their travel planning process. Akari is always available to answer questions, address concerns, and ensure that our clients have a smooth and enjoyable experience. Akari is fluent in both Japanese and English and has a background in hospitality management. She loves exploring local cafes and trying new restaurants in Tokyo.
Yuto Nakamura
Marketing Specialist
Yuto is responsible for promoting Sakura Journeys and sharing our passion for Japan travel with the world. He manages our website, social media channels, and marketing campaigns. Yuto is a creative and innovative marketer with a strong understanding of the travel industry. He is also a talented photographer and videographer, capturing the beauty of Japan and sharing it with our audience. Yuto holds a degree in Marketing from Keio University.
